Greige is not a shade we chose. It is the colour organic cotton grows. No bleach to whiten it, no dye to hide it. What you see is the fibre, exactly as the plant made it.

Seed

Untreated organic seed, never genetically modified. Grown to GOTS rules from the very first day.

The greige range

No two lots alike

Colour comes from the plant, so it shifts a little with every harvest. One lot leans warmer, the next a touch cooler. Tap a lot. None is more correct than another. The small shift is the proof it was never dyed to match.

True greige. The middle of the natural range, and the tone most of our fabric lands closest to.

What is in it

The whole label

GOTS is the strictest organic standard in fabric. It checks the farm, the mill, the water, and the working conditions, not only the fibre. If it carries the mark, every stage was audited.

The colour you see is the cotton itself. Nothing was added to change it, so nothing can bleed, transfer, or fade to a different shade.

Bright white fabric is bleached to get there. Ours never is, so nothing is stripped out of the fibre and nothing is left behind against your skin.

No softener coating and no wrinkle finish. What makes it soft is washing and wearing, not a layer sprayed on at the mill that rinses away in a month.

Folded into paper and shipped in paper. No polybag around the garment, no polybag inside the parcel.

One town, end to end. Tiruppur has made cotton knitwear for generations. A short supply chain means the people who make it are the people who check it.

This page is about the undyed cotton itself, which is 100 percent organic and free of dye, bleach, and chemical finish. Some fitted styles use a small amount of elastane for stretch and recovery. Where they do, it is stated on the product page.

Softer every wash

Over time

Cotton with no dye and no coating has nowhere to fade to and nothing to wash out. It only breaks in. Drag through a year of wear.

Crisp and clean. A fresh knit still has a little structure to it.
