Everything before you buyWhy is the cotton this colour? Is it unclean?
It is completely clean. The colour is the raw, undyed fibre, exactly as organic cotton grows. We do not bleach it white or dye it a colour, so what you see is the plant itself. This natural greige is the point, not a flaw.
Will every piece match exactly?
No, and that is the proof it is undyed. Two vests from two harvests will differ slightly in tone. Dyed garments match because a chemical forces them to. Ours carry the small natural variation of real cotton.
How do I pick my size, and what if it is wrong?
Use Find your fit at the top of this page. Tell us your usual size and how you like it, and we point you to the right one. If it does not fit, we swap it free, no questions.
How do I wash it? Will it shrink or fade?
Cold machine wash, dry in shade. It is pre shrunk, so it holds its size. It cannot fade because there is no dye in it to lose. It only gets softer.
Is it really chemical free and organic?
Yes. The cotton is GOTS certified organic, and we add no dyes, no bleach, and no chemical finish at any stage. There is nothing on the fabric that was not grown in it.
